Snow day in Cedar!

Jake has been saying he was going to build a Snow man with Addi forever! I don't know if any of you are from Cedar, but a couple of days ago it snowed a TON, so Jake decided he would go out and help her! Addi was so excited and she looked so cute all bundled up. We don't really have good winter clothes so I just scrounged up whatever I could find!

Addi really didn't do to much to help and the snow was to powdery to make a ball so pretty much they just played in it! If you'll notice there is no finishing result because they never actually got a snowman made!

She was not really as into the snow as I thought she would be! She was to cold! We really need to get her some real winter clothes!

If you'll notice she's not wearing her pink gloves anymore. When they got wet she asked me to get her some socks. My mom never has gloves at her house so whenever we use to play in the snow she would have us put socks on our hands! Believe it or not it actually works pretty good, well at least it's better then nothing! Those are actually Jake's hunting socks rolled up so she had double protection!

Who doesn't want hot chocolate after they've been playing in the snow!!


Jake hates it when I take his picture because he knows it's going right on the blog! But he's such a cute dad, and I think they're always such cute pictures!

Jet is officially 8 weeks old and he's still so stinking cute! He's getting way good at holding his head up and he really likes helping dad with his homework!

Good news!

Well I've got some good news! Addi has went potty in the toilet!!! I know most of you mothers are thinking so what who cares, but for those of you who don't know I've been pretty stressed about the whole potty training thing! Addi has wanted nothing to do with the toilet so I'm pretty excited that she's a little bit interested. She's still not potty trained but she's getting better at telling us that she needs to go and then actually going! Well anyways I'm pretty excited! We can no longer afford 2 sizes of diapers, and I'm pretty tired of having to pack 2 sizes of diapers around in my diaper bag! I just hope that the end of her wearing diapers is near!!!!

Eventful Month!

Well I'm really sorry but I've posted A TON of pictures this time! We've done a lot of stuff in the last month, and I haven't hardly posted anything. I know you might get bored, but I couldn't choose which pictures to put in and which to leave out so I just ended up posting a lot of pictures. School has started now and Jake and I are both going full time so I don't really know how much I'll be able to post.

Our Christmas tree!

Jake and I have tried to follow in my Mom's footsteps and we take our own family picture in front or our tree! The problem with this year was we never got it done before Christmas so we had to wait til we came back home which wasn't until the fifth of January! Well we got it done even if it wasn't done before Christmas.

Baby Blessing!

We had the best Sunday ever! Trevor came down from Wyoming and we blessed our babies together. They both did a really great job. I was so proud of Jake. He was so nervous, but he really did such a good job.

I hate the glare in this picture but it will just have to do. I still can't believe that our family is growing, I really feel so blessed in my life right now. It's weird to think that Jake and I's lives are really where they are right now. We have a good life.

I was so glad that Trevor got to come enjoy this experience with us. Denielle is such a good wife, and she's very patient with her in laws! Her family wasn't able to make it because of the weather so it really was a sacrifice for her and I'm grateful that she was willing to come all this way and do it here.

I love this picture. Jet wore Jordan's little baby blessing outfit. I was so glad my mom let me use it, and he looked really cute in it even though it was a little old-school!

It's too bad these boys won't remeber their blessing day, because it really was a good one!

I just think these pictures are cute! Poor Jet will just be happy if he makes it to his first birthday still intact.

The twins were so cute with these babies! I don't know why we gave the big baby to the little Jared and the small baby to the big David!

I think this picture is so funny of Jet! He wasn't too sure about letting David hold him.

Jet

This is the first time that Jet has met his cousin Jacen! This is my little brother Trevor and Denielle's baby. Jacen is only a little over 2 weeks older then Jet, but he was quite a bit bigger then him. It's amazing how much 2 pounds makes a difference.

Christmas!

I love Christmas time so much and Christmas Eve is why! I love this night! My mom does so many things to make this night very special to all of us! She always gets us really nice jammies, and we're always matching, but we love it. This picture is so funny! It's mom and dad with all of their grand kids. How cute of Grandparents are they???

This is what we do every year. We all get in our new pajamas and take a family picture in front of the tree. I don't think the boys love it, but their all patient!

We always take this picture too! See how beautiful my mom makes it for us! Our family is getting to big to have it at our house anymore. Soon we'll be filling the gym at the church. Actually my Dad would never have it there but we really are getting to big for our tiny family room. Maybe we'll actually have a new house by Christmas!!
I thought this picture was so funny of Dave. He'd probably die if he knew I posted it! Every Christmas morning Jake's dad makes everyone omelets at his mom and dads house. This year grandma made him an apron and he posed when Jake went to take a picture of him. It was pretty funny!
I don't know why my fonts changing now! Well Jet has made it to Christmas. If any of you know Addi you know why I'm so happy he's made it! This hat his Grandma Rae gave to him and we think it's so funny!


We got Addi a Kitchen for Christmas. She doesn't ever really play with it now, but she liked it that morning. She actually enjoyed Christmas this year so it was really fun! Next year it will be way fun with both of the kids!
