Jordan's on his Mission!!

We took Jordan to the MTC on Wednesday! It just happened to be my birthday that day, and it was such a sad, sad birthday!! We didn't take Addi with us up there so we had to get a picture with her before we had left. Oh yeah I cut Addi's hair again. My neighbor cut it for me and it was a little shorter then I expected it to be, but we love it. It's an A line in the back. I love the back of it I need to get a picture of it.
Anyways Jordan was so sad to see leave! It's been so much fun following him around to all of his things for the last 19 years. I really do feel like he is one of my best friends, and I will really, really miss him! My Aunt Joyce emailed me and in the email she told me taking a missionary is one of the saddest and sweetest experiences. I think that is the perfect way to describe it. Even though it made me extremely sad I know that what he is doing right now is where he needs to be!
I don't know if he's going to be able to look at my blog, but just in case We miss you Jordan! I hope you're doing well! You're going to be the best missionary ever!!

Summer games!

This is when I rode to the summer games for soccer to watch my little brothers! I know I'm horrible but Jake had left earlier then us with the car seat in his car. She loved not being trapped in her seat. Her and Tanner rode in the very back and just played.

Me and Addi went to watch Jessica play volleyball in the summer games! She does so good, and it was really fun to watch her. I wish I could have seen more!

Addi adores Qua, Nae Nae, and Di, oh yeah and Gus (their dog)! Whenever I can't find her in the yard at my Mom and Dads house I know she's wandered over to the George's. I'm just glad they like her. They are so patient with her and are always playing with her when she's over there. I'm so, so grateful for them!!!

Happy Fathers Day!

Well I told Jake that since it was fathers day I would let him play the Play Station all day without me whining about it! This little "gift" to him is so hard for me because I HATE the Play Station! That is why I'm posting a blog today, because I'm bored and Addi is asleep so I have no one to play with! I thought I would tribute this blog to him since it's his day!

Since day one Jake has loved being a dad and he's very very good at it. Addi just adores him! I'm so grateful for his patience and understanding. If you knew us in high school you know our relationship was always an up and down roller coaster, and it's still the same way. We don't fight as much :), but one second Addi makes us both so happy and then the next second we are both so mad at her. She can make us feel so many different emotions in the span of 10 seconds that it's crazy. Jake knows a lot more about what he's doing then I do that's for sure. I'm so proud of Jake and all the things he's accomplished. He's a very hard worker, and he never gives up on anything.
The other day at my brothers farewell Jake came in with his Grandma so he sat with his family instead of coming and finding me. I was so mad at him especially when my Aunt Betty thought that the reason I was crying so hard was because Jake and I were fighting or something instead of over my brother leaving on a mission. I realize that I spend enough time in Delta that people probably think that Jake and I are always getting a divorce, but we're really not! :) Jake is always very patient with me wanting to be in Delta and I'm especially grateful for that! He doesn't usually make a big stink about me spending so much time there even though I know he misses me when I'm gone!!

I Love Jake more then anything in this world and I'm so grateful that he is such a good dad to Addi! There are many reasons why I love him, and I hope I'm as good to him as he is to me.
I have to give a shout out to my best Dad in the world, even though I know he'll never look at this! My Dad is the best, and I'm so proud of him. I'm grateful for him and all the things he's taught me. I love both him and my Mom! You guys are the best!!!!

Our Day at Sand Hollow!

I know these pictures are all pretty much the same, but there were so many cute ones I couldn't leave any out! I need to know when to stop taking pictures!!
Jake helped Addi build a sand castle, well Jake built a sand castle while Addi either watched or layed by me on the blanket.
Addi loves to be in the water, except when she's in the bath. I need to just start bathing her in her little swim pool, I'm sure it would be a lot easier!

Addi was so funny with the seagulls. She wanted them so bad it was way cute. I told her she should feed them some crackers so she walked around holding out her bag of fishies hoping they'd just swoop down and eat them right out of the bag it really was so cute.
This one was suppose to be at the end. She didn't not want to leave so on the way home she pouted while she sat in her little fishy tube.

This is Dad making the castle while Addi runs around.
Jake really was so excited about this castle!

While Jake was pouring the big pink bucket in the castle Addi was using these 2 little cups we had brought. They have holes on the bottom of them so by the time she got to the castle all of the water had came out of the cups. It was so disappointing for her.
Finally Jake helped her with the big bucket and she liked that a lot better! We had so much fun hanging out as a family. We don't get to do very many things just the three of us! We need to do it more often.

Going to Delta!

The other day when I told Addi that we were going to Delta and we needed to get packed this is what she came back with. It was a diaper bag and only pajamas. She mush of thought we were coming back during the days to get normal clothes. She loves going to Delta, almost as much as I do!
