New Baby and Christmas

Elli LaRae Abbott was born on Friday December 18th! She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long. She was born 2 and a half weeks early, but still as healthy as can be. I went in for an appointment with Dr. Smith on Thursday and he found out that she was breech so he sent me up to a specialist the next day to see if he could turn her. We were already going up north for the wrestles and to go shopping so it wasn't a big deal to drive to Provo. Well the Doctor up there found out I had placenta previa so he said he couldn't turn her and he felt it would be best to do a C Section right then. By 2:30 that day little Elli was here! It was the weirdest day ever. One second I was planning on going to the wrestles and the next second I was having a baby! It's weird to think that she still shouldn't be here til the second of January! Because we weren't expecting to have her yet she had no clothes to wear, we had no camera, we weren't done Christmas shopping! We just weren't prepared! Next time I'll be already a month in advance just in case.
I'm definitely not a photographer but I thought this tutu was cute! Grandma Rae got it for her for Christmas. She is such a beautiful baby. I can't believe how hard it is to go anywhere with three kids, but other then that Elli hasn't added to much difficulty to our routine. It'll be a lot harder I'm sure when School starts for me on the 11th!
The kids both love her to death! Addi wants to hold her all the time and she's pretty curious about how Jesus gets milk into my body! :) She is such a funny little thing!
Jet loves her too and wants to give her kisses a lot. Jake thinks it's so funny that she sucks on everything so he tried it on Jet's finger and obviously Jet thought it was pretty amusing!
We had a really great Christmas! It's so fun to see how happy your kids are when they open their presents. We spent Christmas at Jake's house, but because we're both from Delta we are able to do pretty much everything with both families.
Addi couldn't get enough Christmas presents to open. She loved everything about it! I can't believe how much things change every year. Addi's already excited for next Christmas!

More Halloween

It's been awhile!

I know I haven't posted for awhile! I've been so busy with school and taking care of my family that I haven't had much time for anything else! Well I've probably had time I've just had too many pictures to put up! I hardly posted any of them, this is just a few of the cute ones. Addi and Jet are doing good. Addi really likes preschool and I'm pretty sure Jet thinks he has two mom's! He is at my sister Brittany's almost everyday all day. I think we'll all be really happy when I'm finally done with school! I have 8 weeks left til the baby gets here. This pregnancy has just flown by. I haven't minded being pregnant this time and I think it's just because I never have time to think about it! I'm moving to Delta after Christmas to do my student teaching so that my mom can help me with my kids. I'm so grateful that she's willing to help me. I have such a good family. We don't really know what Jake is going to do yet. He's done with his MACC in December, but he might keep going and get his MBA too. He hasn't decided. I hope he can be in Delta with me but that probably won't happen! Life is good and very stressful. I keep thinking that once school is over it'll get easier, but I'm not sure when it ever gets easier! Hopefully I'll be better at posting but don't count on it!

The other day I found Addi in her toy box! I've never seen her climb into it like this so I thought it was pretty funny!
Addi use to climb up onto the dishwasher when she was little too! What is so cool about the dishwasher that little kids think they always need to play on it! Every time I open the dishwasher Jet is right there with me pulling everything out as fast as I can get it in!
I love this picture, Jet has the prettiest eyes! He got his Dad's eyelashes. I know you can't see them that well in this picture but they are so stinking long!
I love Jet's face in this one! I use to always take pictures of Addi with a dirty face, so I thought I better have at least one of Jet! This is what Jet looks like about every night, I just never take a picture of it!
We had a good Halloween this year. I'm so mad I didn't take better pictures. I completely forgot about taking any pictures. This was taken at the end of the night when she was being cranky. I told her to smile and this is what I got. She wanted to be Rapunzel for Halloween, and because I procrastinated and tried to buy a costume a few days before Halloween this is what she had to be! Jet was a dragon. I didn't get any pictures of him but my friend did and when she emails them to me I will post them. He looked way cute! We had our family Halloween party, but I didn't have my camera so I didn't get any pictures from that either. It was way fun again and some of the costumes were so funny! I will try to get a picture to put up because it was so funny!

Jet fell asleep like this on the couch awhile ago. I know it doesn't seem that weird, but Jet never sleeps in weird places! He really always falls asleep in his crib. He did look pretty sweet all cuddled up on the couch!

Seriously, How long ago was mini cheer! Addi loved mini cheer, and even though she didn't know any of the cheers she sure tried to do them. I really thought she'd get down there and just be embarrassed and not want to do it but she did so good!

I try to make breakfast for Addi every morning before we go to school. Well this particular morning Jet thought that he would help with the waffles. I know they look a little nasty, but Addi likes her waffles with blue food coloring in them, even though they actually end up looking pretty green!

Summer's almost over! :(

Well I don't have any pictures to post. We have actually been doing stuff I just never take any pictures. I have got to be better! We went to fish lake with Jake's family and my mom took all the grandkids to the the zoo, Chuckee Cheese, and the Lehi swimming pool and I didn't take one picture! I still hate to think we did all those things and I didn't take one picture! Well it's been Addi's summer goal to go to Chuckee Cheese and Grandma promised her forever to take her we just couldn't find the time. We've had coupons hanging on our fridge all summer long to Chuckee Cheese and we finally went. The kids had a blast but I think trips with all the grandkids are more work then fun for the moms! We had a good time though and it was fun to spend time with my mom and sisters. Another exciting thing that has happened is that we found out we are having a girl! I still can't believe I'm even pregnant but ready or not I guess! Jake and I start school on Monday and Addi starts preschool the following Monday. This is going to be a busy couple of months for us with school, kids, and new babies so I hope we survive (well I hope I survive!) Well I'm going to bed. I hope everyone is more prepared for the summer to end then me!

Seriously, can I even remember how to post!!

Holy smokes it has been a long time since I've blogged! I can't really even explain why I haven't put any pictures up either. I've been busy with school, but that's not a very good excuse. Well life is still good for us and it still seems like something is always going on. My kids are growing like crazy. I still can't believe that Jet is 7 and a half months old. He is such a sweetie and is changing daily. He still doesn't crawl, but somehow he gets around the room I just can't really explain how. I guess it's an army crawl or something! Addi is still the most adorable thing one second, and the meanest thing the next. She defiantly has her dads temperament, because you all know me, I'm sweet all the time :) (Yeah right)! So Addi would rather ride in the stroller even if she is cramped. The other day we went to the Shakespearean festival Greenshow and on the way home her head was bobbing. I scooted Jet over so they could both fit and it actually worked! They were both asleep for awhile but Jet woke up and was of course smiling at us. He really smiles all the time!!

Addi's hut that Jake made even though she didn't want to be in her room by herself so when we wouldn't stay in there with her we had to make a new hut in the front room. You'd think all those babies would keep her company but they don't!

So Jake was wanting to have this movie night where we'd all pick out a movie, our own kind of ice cream and pop popcorn. (I love popcorn popped with a real popper. I think it's a Johnson thing cuz I know Uncle Elwin's family and Uncle Dan's does it too!) Anyways it was a real hit! Of course Addi wasn't way into watching our movies, but she did ok. She loved the popcorn though.

When we were popping the pop corn she said "I have the best parents in the whole world!" First of all I wasn't kidding when I said she was the sweetest thing and second of all how does she know the word parents? I know it seems like a stupid question but seriously I doubt I used that word til I was 12! She thinks she's so grown up. It's pretty sad that when we do something so simple she thinks were so great. We have got to do more!! And yes we had TONS of popcorn, and yes it almost all got eaten! So depressing!

My 2 favorite boys!

Happy fourth! We of course went to Delta for the 4th of July. It was so much fun. I couldn't remember why I loved the fourth so much while I was looking for Addi at the park, but when I found her and a lot of the people had left I was reminded. I love the 4th just like everyone else from Delta. I had so much fun seeing all my friends. I wish I could've talked to each of them longer, and Lisa I wish I could've even seen you!! I miss my friends A LOT!

Poor Jet his feet were probably on fire, but he wasn't acting like it!

I love the parade in Delta. The best part about the fourth was getting to hang out with Jake and our families. Jake works all the time I swear so it was nice to just chill! And just so everyone knows I wasn't the Ashley Abbott driving in the derby. I can't believe how many people really thought that was me! I doubt you'll ever see me driving in the derby, but I'm sure proud of my in-laws for always doing so well!

Oh yeah we went to Mexico with our friends Brittney and Warren. We had so much fun hanging out with them! Thanks again for letting us come with you! I'm ready to go back!

For those of you have read all of this and didn't already know that I was pregnant again, I am. I know that it seems like I was just pregnant and that's because I was! Jet and this new baby will be 13 months apart. At first we weren't way excited about it because we just didn't' think we were ready, but now we're really excited about it. Well anyways that's what we've been up too. Sorry I haven't posted much, hopefully I'll get better at it again, but don't count on it!

Just Chillin!

This little couch has been the very best purchase! We use it all the time. Jet fits perfect on it! I'm pretty sure he's wanting some of that Snack pack!

Just Jet!

Well I hadn't been taking very good pictures of Jet so I've decided to be better! These are just some of the cutest ones!

I LOVE LOVE this picture. It's the only one that I have of him smiling and let me tell you he has the Cutest smile you'd ever see!

This was the very first time he ate. He's got a sweet tooth just like his mom. We started with rice and he didn't really like that so we went to sweet potato's. He also likes applesauce. Don't worry I've tried carrots too. I try to be a little bit healthy!

I love this one! He looked so cute with a little bow on his head! Addi thought this was hilarious, Jake did Not!

I am so grateful for Jet. My Mom has Addi for a couple of days and it's been really nice to have some me and Jet time. He doesn't get near enough attention when Addi's around. I definitely need to work on that!

Easter

Ok I know I'm so late on posting about Easter, so I wasn't going to post any pictures but some of them were just too cute to skip!

My Mom bought both the kids' Easter clothes and I think they both look so stinking cute! Jake had to work on Easter so he wasn't there. This picture would be so much cuter with him in it!

My mom will probably hate that I put this picture in, but I think it is SOOO funny. This is really what the twins are like all the time. I love them so much. They are the cutest things, but really I don't know how my sister does it!

This was how Addi was with all of the pictures until I told her I was going to take away her Easter stuff! I really was so mad at her! She still looks cute though!

This is all Addi wanted for Easter! You can't tell but they're Crabby Patties from Spongebob. Every time we walked by them in Walmart she told me that was what she wanted! They actually taste pretty good!

She wasn't so sure about the Easter thing, well at least no at first. It took her a second to warm up but once she did she loved it! We had a really good Easter.

Dance Lessons and Little Jet!

Ok, So Addi started dance lessons, and I'm so excited! I think I was more excited to take her then she was to go, but when we left the class she was definitely more excited then I was! She did so good. I was very proud of her! I can't believe I have someone in Dance!

On the way home I called my mom and started saying "I might be biased, but I think she did just as good as some of the four year old in her class who have been going all year!" Wow I guess I'm going to be one of THOSE moms who thinks their kid is the best, but she really was! :) She was so cute and I hope she continues to enjoy it as much as she did that first day, because she will have a blast if she does!

I can't believe my baby is already four months! It really feels like I just had him. This is my sisters baby Jaylee. She is so cute and little, and Jet looks like a monster next to her. Someday they, along with my brothers baby Jacen, are going to make a nice little trio! Poor Grandma!

I was just playing around while I was waiting for Jake to get done with his homework, but I thought they were cute. I don't take enough pictures of Jet. I swear with Addi every time she opened her eyes I was taking a picture of her, but I never remember to take any of Jet.
