Addi and her friends!

This is Addi with her friends Avery and Ashton. They use to live right across the street from us when we lived in St. George. Addi just loved Avery, and it was so nice to have a friend across the street. Brittney and Warren came to see the new baby a couple of weeks ago so we took the kids to McDonald's to play. They brought Jet his cute church outfit in the pictures below this.
We miss you guys so much. Not only was it nice that Addi had a friend it was nice for me to have someone to talk to. I miss sitting in the front yard just visiting. Anyways you guys are good friends. I hope we see you at a softball tournament soon, or else we just need to come visit you. Thanks again for the outfit and for coming to see us. It was way fun!!

Addi and Jet!

Addi and Jet were both looking so cute to go to church the other day so I made Jake take pictures of them together. You can't really see Addi's pretty dress in these pictures, but she really did look so cute. Addi is really lucky this year because she gets to Christmas dresses from her Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. My dad picked this one out when he thought we couldn't get the other one. My mom tried to take it back, but my Dad wanted Janie and Addi to keep them so this is her pre-Christmas Christmas dress!
This cute outfit is from our friends in St. George. He really looked so cute. The pants were a little big, but the top fit him almost perfectly! My little brother put the basketball in his hands. If any of you know Jake and his family Jet will have no choice but be a wrestler so Hunter thought he was being funny with the basketball!
Addi asked me take this picture! She really loves Jet so much, it almost drives me crazy sometimes!!

Addi and Santa!

Addi has loved Santa this year, which is way different from last year! It's so nice to have her excited for Christmas, and to actually what know what it is! It really makes it so much more fun!
She liked him but she was still being shy. This picture is cute, but I still can't decide if it was worth waiting in that long line for!

I forgot to tell you his name!!

I'm so embarrassed that I didn't even post his name! He is David Jet Abbott! He was going to be Jake Jet, but he was born on Jake's dads birthday so he wanted to name him after both of our dads. It's pretty convenient to have both are dads named David. Anyways I can't believe I didn't even remember to tell you his name!!

He's finally here!

Ok I know I've put a ton of pictures on, but believe it or not this is only a small portion of what we took! I'm just so excited to have him finally here. It's amazing what a new addition can do to change your family. It's still so weird to have Jake and I both holding a baby when we're watching tv! Pictures just don't do enough justice! He really is such a cute baby with a ton of hair. He was born on December 1st at 3:48 PM. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. When he came out he was grunting a little so they thought there was something wrong with his lungs. Everything ended up being ok, but they decided he was probably about 2 weeks early! The doctor started me early because I had protein in my urine, but he thought he was only starting me 5 days early. Everything ended up being ok, but it was still hard having him in the nursery for so long the first day!

Addi really just adores him. Knock on wood that things don't change but so far she just adores him. She always says "That boy is so cute!" She really loves him!

Thanks to my mom, Jake's family, and my sisters for coming to visit. Jake was thinking I was pretty crazy because I was feeling so bad that none of my family was going to be there, but just having my mom there made me feel better, I know I'm such a mommas girl. Thanks especially to Lacey for driving clear to Cedar with Janie and the twins to just see me for like five minutes. I really appreciated having her there!

Jake thinks having a boy is the coolest thing!

Right after he was born. His eyes are so huge when they're open, which isn't very often. I have to beg him to wake up and eat!

I just put this picture on so you could see this cute shirt Addi was wearing. It said I'm the big sister! She was so proud.

What a cute baby! We love finally having him here, even if he kept me up all night last night. We got to get those days and nights figured out soon!
